How to Create Your Own Wrestling Title Belt

Creating a wrestling title belt is a fun way to crown a champion for your in-house wrestling matchups. The wrestling title belt can change hands several times, depending on who beats the previous champion. Title belts can come in many shapes and sizes, but most are gold in color with an inscription on the belt proclaiming that it is the belt of the champion.

  • Paper plate
  • Gold construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Marker

      Place the paper plate face down on the gold construction paper. Trace the outline of the plate around the construction paper. Cut out the outlined circle on the construction paper.

      Write the name of the title on the construction paper circle with your marker. The title could be anything from "World Champion" to "House Champion" to "Neighborhood Champion."

      Cut two slits in the back of the paper plate for the belt to go through. Glue the gold cutout to the paper plate. The cutout should fit perfectly onto the plate, leaving a space in the middle between the surface of the plate and the back of the cutout. Let the glue dry for two hours.

      Thread your belt through the two pre-cut slits in the back of the plate. The belt and the plate are now one piece. The belt should be adjustable so it can be worn by a champion of any size.
