How to Resell Tickets

If you have tickets to a concert or a sporting even and have discovered you no longer need or are able to use the tickets, you probably want to make some money back off of the tickets. Although you may not receive the entire ticket price for the tickets (depending on the demand for show tickets) there are several different ways to post information about the tickets and resell the passes.

Instructions

    • 1

Log onto the fan website you purchased the tickets from (if you bought the tickets from such a site). Many of these Internet sites allow you to post your tickets online so other fans are able to purchase the tickets from you.

    • 2

List the tickets on Craigslist.org. Here you are able to select your exact state and town, then write information describing the tickets. It works like a free want ad in the newspaper, and individuals are able to purchase these tickets directly from you.

    • 3

Post the tickets on eBay. Once the tickets are posted to this online auction website, other users are able to bid on these tickets for purchase and, once the auction is over, you send the tickets to the individual who won the auction once you receive funds for the tickets.

    • 4

Sell the tickets to an individual by the venue that needs an extra ticket. As long as you do not charge more than face value for the ticket, this is a completely legal act.
