How to Change Your Roster in Fantasy Football

To stay competitive in your fantasy football league, you'll need to ensure that you set the best possible starting lineup each week. An injured star could cost you points at his position, while a healthy journeyman could give you just enough points to get a victory. And while it's ultimately your decision who should start or sit, its imperative that you understand the basics of altering your fantasy football roster.

Instructions

    • 1

Log in to your fantasy football account, and then click on your team page.

    • 2

Look over each of the players in your lineup. You'll need to bench any player that's hurt or on a bye week.

    • 3

Drag and drop the inactive player to your bench. Some fantasy football applications will require you to change a player's status with a menu box.

    • 4

Fill the empty positions in your lineup. Drag and drop the appropriate skill player into the voided position in your lineup. If you have an empty running back's spot in your lineup, for example, drag and drop your bench's best available running back into the slot.

    • 5

Confirm your lineup, if your fantasy football app includes a confirmation option.
