March Madness Activities

Start a Bracket
-
A bracket is a visual representation of which teams you think are going to progress through the championship tournament. The bracket is split into East, West, Southeast and Southwest regions and shows every tournament game. Try to figure out who is going to win each game until you hit the Final Four, and then predict the national champion. Compare brackets with friends and coworkers.
Host Viewing Parties
-
March Madness lasts for three weeks, and there are quite a few games to watch as the championship progresses. Find a game that your friends are excited about and host a viewing party at your house. Encourage attendees to bring food and drinks, and buy a few party favors to get everyone in a festive mood. Just be civil when supporting rival teams or your party could take a turn for the worse.
Hit a Bar
-
If hosting in your home is not your cup of tea, check out local bars to see if any March Madness events are booked. Sports bars often have massive HD televisions and special events planned to make watching playoff and championship games more entertaining, plus drink specials could be available to keep your crowd jovial and happy. It is worth noting that bars can be crowded once the bracket shrinks to the Final Four, but for many this only compounds the fun.
Decorate Your Workspace
-
If you work in an office and have your own desk, you can encourage a little friendly competition by decorating your desk in the colors and logos of your favorite NCAA team. Others will follow suit, and you can even wrap the whole thing up by holding a desk-decorating contest to see who has the most team spirit. Once again, it is important to keep rivalries civil to avoid causing any major problems, but a little good-spirited competition can be an excellent workday diversion.
