49ers Face Paint Ideas

The gold and garnet clad San Francisco 49ers have been entertaining fans and perfecting football skills and plays dating back to 1946. Honor particular team players, the overall history of the sport or a specific award-winning season such as when they won one of their multiple Superbowl titles. Use non-toxic face paints to ensure proper skin effect and reaction. Wash paint off immediately following desired events to avoid rash or irritation.
  1. Four Square

    • Use the rich team colors of gold and garnet to paint a memorable design and show your team spirit. Begin by drawing a single line down the middle of your forehead and continuing it over the nose and down the chin. Next, draw a line from ear to ear also covering the bridge of the nose. Alternate the two colors left, right, left, right and paint the number 49 on each cheek in white.

    Stripes

    • Celebrate game day with a stylish and colorful expression of your appreciation for the team. Begin by using a ruler as a straight edge to draw straight white lines down your face, beginning along the sides and stretching lines to fit the full length of face in the middle. Next, draw a white circle around each eye and shade in one with garnet and one with gold. Return to the right ear and draw 1/2-inch stripes across the entire width of the face, alternating gold and garnet. Place a big number 49 in the center of your forehead.

    Two Face

    • When searching for a quick, simple and easy to execute spirited face for game day, look no further than utilizing the two primary team colors of garnet and gold. Begin by drawing a garnet colored line down the center of your face. Next, paint the left side garnet and the right gold. Cut a small football shape out of cardboard and draw balls on both cheeks and forehead. Alternate ball colors to contrast primary face shade on each side.

    Significant Numbers

    • Watch the big event on game day and show your support with a painted face that reflects numbers important to the team or significant to you. Prior to decorating cheeks and forehead, eyes and chin with numerical digits, cover entire face in either garnet or gold. Use a secondary color for all numbers. Next, pick four to six numbers such as that of your favorite player, a yardage record, date of the team's first game or even the number 49. Write numbers upside down or sideways for added effect.
