How to Face Paint Steelers Colors

Each of the 32 teams in the National Football League may claim its fans are the best in the country, but for storied franchises such as the Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Steelers, there's no contest. According to a 2008 ESPN NFL fan base ranking, the Steelers, winners of a record six Super Bowls, have the best fans in the NFL. But you don't have to live in the Steel City to express your support for the Steelers; try painting your face in the team's bold yellow and black colors.

  • Water-based face paint
  • Thin paint brush
  • Logo stencils

      Wash your face to remove excess oil and dirt, and towel your face dry.

      Dip the brush in water, then black paint, and paint the entire right half of your face black, using the center of your nose as the dividing line. Paint in a vertical manner, but leave your mouth untouched. Resume the black paint beneath your lower lip down to the end of your chin.

      Dip the brush in water until the black paint is gone, then dip the brush in yellow paint and paint the entire left half of your face yellow to match the right side of your face.

      Let the paint dry, which should take about 60 seconds.

      Peel the logo stencil and place it on your cheek. Dip the brush in water and then dip it into one of the three colors (red, yellow and blue) that represents the Steelers logo. Dip the brush into only one color at a time.

      Apply the paint to the stencil on your cheek, coating the opening. Repeat the process for each of the three colors, making sure you clean the brush in water after painting a color. When you are finished, gently peel back the stencil, which leaves the Steelers logo on your skin. Repeat this process for your other cheek.
