1
Lay out the baseball jersey on a large flat surface. Measure the length and width of the jersey at the widest points if you just want to frame the jersey, and write down those measurements.
-
2
Decide if you want to add any memorabilia to your frame as well. Lay the memorabilia out around the jersey and re-measure at the widest points including all the items. Jot down these measurements.
-
3
Purchase a frame that is large enough to hold the jersey and any items you want to include with it.
-
4
Take the frame apart by removing the backing and any paper that is up against the glass. Clean the glass of the frame using a good-quality glass cleaner and a lint-free rag.
-
5
Lay the jersey on the glass in the frame; decide if you want the front or the back of the jersey to show through the frame. Add any memorabilia to the corners of the frame or in any desired arrangement.
-
6
Place the backing back on the frame, being careful not to move any of the items that are on the glass. Hold the frame carefully and flip it over to see what everything looks like before you secure the backing to the frame.
-
7
Make any necessary adjustments to the jersey or the memorabilia.
-
8
Cut a piece of cloth that fits the frame exactly. Lay the cloth over the entire project to give you a nice-looking background once everything is in the frame.
-
9
Replace the backing and secure it to the frame and hang where desired.
