1
Determine where you want to display the scarf. Hold the scarf opened up across the section of wall where you want to hang it. Do not pull it taunt, there should be some looseness in the scarf to prevent stretching.
-
2
Mark the wall directly above the two top corners of the scarf with a pencil.
-
3
Hammer a nail into each pencil mark. Alternatively you can use a screw.
-
4
Measure the distance between the two screws/nails.
-
5
Use scissors to cut a length of picture frame wire a few inches longer than the distance between the two screws.
-
6
Wrap one end of the wire around the nail or screw. Grasp the other end and wrap that end around the other nail or screw. The wire should be secure and tight.
-
7
Clip two binder clips to one end of the scarf behind the tassel material. Choose the end that will be the top when hanging. If you want the scarf to hang horizontally across the wall instead of vertically, clip two binder clips to the top length of the scarf a few inches from each tasseled end.
-
8
Remove the metal arm from the clip used on the front side of the scarf. Close the other arm so the plastic clip clamps the scarf.
-
9
Hang the scarf on the wire. The wire should slide between the remaining clip arms and the fabric of the scarf.
