Things You'll Need

- Bowjax string sliencers
- Small black zip ties
Instructions

1
Examine the string for and fraying. If fraying is found, trim away any long loose threads with a razor, being extremely careful not to hit the string itself.
-
2
Uncap the wax and rub the string with the stick of wax up and down the string until it is covered with wax. Hit all parts of the string that you can touch.
-
3
Rub the wax into the string with your fingers. Work the wax into the string well until there is no more wax visible to the naked eye and it has saturated the string. This will lengthen the life of the string.
-
4
Attach the bowjax string silencers to the string by slipping them over the string as close as possible to where the limb and string connect without the bowjax silencer actually touching the limbs. Once in place, use the small zip ties to secure them to the string tightly.
-
5
Cut away any excess plastic from the zip tie with the razor blade to avoid it getting in the way or catching on anything.
