Ascent Magnetic 3 Level Trainer Instructions

Open the quick release skewer at the center of your bicycle's rear wheel. Remove the nut opposite the quick release, and slide the release free of the wheel.

Slide the quick release skewer included with the Ascent Magnetic 3 Level trainer through the center of the wheel from the left side. This quick release skewer allows the wheel and trainer to be compatible with each other.

Install the narrow end of the cone-shaped spring included with the quick release skewer onto the tip of the skewer. Then thread the nut onto the tip.

Tighten the nut, and close the quick release so that it is snug. If the quick release refuses to close, loosen the nut and try again.

Unfold the legs of the Ascent Magnetic 3 Level trainer and set the trainer on a flat, even surface.

Turn the adjustment knob on the side of the trainer counterclockwise to accommodate the bicycle's rear axle.

Turn the roller adjustment knob at the rear of the trainer counterclockwise to accommodate the bicycle's rear wheel.

Lift your bicycle carefully. Orient each end of the bicycle's rear axle with the axle clamp cones on each side of the trainer.

Lower the right side of the bicycle's axle into the right axle clamp cone. Turn the adjustment knob on the side of the trainer clockwise to tighten the left axle cone onto the left side of the bicycle's axle. Continue to tighten until the bicycle is held securely.

Turn the locking ring, on the inside of the adjustment knob on the side of the trainer, until it is flush against the frame of the trainer.

Note the resistance knob on the side of the roller, at the rear of the Ascent Magnetic 3 Level Trainer. To increase resistance on the wheel, and provide a more difficult workout, pull the knob out and turn it clockwise. Three levels of resistance are available.
