Instructions

    • 1

Flex and stretch all of your muscles before bowling. This gives you maneuverability to make the correct moves.

    • 2

Pick up the ball in your resting hand. Move to the dot on the path that is about two feet from the starting point in the lane. Align yourself with the dots that show you where you should stand.

    • 3

Hold your stance and ensure it is your turn to bowl by checking to see if other bowlers have finished their rolls.

    • 4

Position your toes straight ahead. Make sure your hips and shoulders stay parallel to each other. Move your feet so they are parallel to your hips.

    • 5

Tilt your hips and hold the ball steady with both hands. Insert your fingers into the holes with the hand that is actually gripping the ball. Move your ball arm back and then swiftly bring it forward.

    • 6

Take a slow, deep breath, aim for the pins and let go of the ball as you move your arm forward.
