How to Put on a Cowboy Collar
A cowboy collar is a piece of football equipment that places a tubed foam pad behind the helmet to support the neck during tackles or hits. The cowboy collar prevents your neck from whipping back when getting hit to reduce the force of hyperextension or whiplash. The cowboy collar is worn underneath your shoulder pads and is attached to your body using adjustable straps to fit your exact body size.
