How to Remove a Tag on a Football Jersey
You may wear your favorite football team's jersey as a way to support the team. Or, if you play football, you wear the jersey for extended periods during autumn months. Either way, it's important for the jersey to be as comfortable as possible. If your jersey has a sharp, scratchy tag at the collar, it can be an annoying distraction that is easily resolved.
Things You'll Need

1
Locate the football jersey's tag on the inside of the collar at the back of the jersey.
-
2
Cut the tag off the jersey with scissors, removing as much as possible without cutting into the collar.
-
3
Pull the stitches out of the stub of the tag using a stitch ripper. Stick the sharp end of the ripper under each looped stitch and pull gently to cut it. Extract the stitches with the dull end of the ripper and remove the remainder of the tag.
-
4
Examine the rest of the jersey for other tags that you may wish to remove.
