How to Make a Prep Football Jersey
Instructions
-
Make your jersey.
-
1
Click on style. All online football jersey retailers give you the option to choose a style of jersey. Some consist of stripes only on the arms, some have stripes on the arms and sides, and some are a solid color with no stripes. Click on the link that best displays the look for which you are aiming.
-
2
Click on color. Choose a color. Different retailers offer different options when it comes to the color of your football jersey. The good news is that all retailers allow you to see the color of the jersey as you build it, via interactive pictures and graphics. Choose a color for the main portion of the jersey (front and back), and perhaps a different color for the trim (sides, neckline and maybe the sleeves and numbers).
-
3
Click on size. Even if you are making your football jersey online, it wouldn't be a bad idea to visit your local sporting goods store and find out what size you wear first. Once that has been determined, click on the link that matches your size. Most online retailers abbreviate sizes, such as XL for extra large, LG for large and SM for small.
-
4
Customize. On top of choosing basics such as color and size, many online football jersey builders give you the option of further customizing your jersey. That means adding a team name to the front of the jersey, and perhaps your last name on the back. You can also sometimes choose the jersey's fabric. Look closely for these options and choose accordingly.

5
Add to cart. After your prep football jersey has the look and feel that you are aiming for, you will need to check out or add it to an online cart. During this process, you will be prompted to enter your mailing address as well as credit card information. Most jerseys take anywhere from four to eight weeks to arrive.
