1
Pick a place outside to remove the chrome. The materials that you are going to use can give off fumes that are harmful.
-
2
Put on protective gloves, rubber boots and eye protection.
-
3
Pour enough acid into a tank so you have enough room to dip the club in it.
-
4
Dip the club into the tank and allow it to eat away at the chrome. Use a pair of tongs to pull the club out of the tank. If the chrome is not eaten away, put the club back into the solution.
-
5
Pour alkaline rinse into a different tank. Dip the club into the alkaline rise to neutralize the acid. Keep the club in the bath for three minutes to allow it to neutralize the acid.
-
6
Remove the club with your tongs and rinse it off with fresh water. Use a piece of sandpaper to get the rest of the chrome off of the club.
