How to Remove Ping I15 Badges
The i15 is a set of golf irons developed and manufactured by the Ping company. A feature of the cavity-back irons is a large badge which occupies much of the cavity face around the logo. You can remove these badges to give the club a plain look by prying them away from the glue that attaches them. The procedure can be done with basic household products.
Things You'll Need
- Heat gun
- Flathead screwdriver
- Adhesive remover
- Toothbrush
- Cloth
Instructions

1
Heat the badge with a heat gun to loosen the adhesive.
-
2
Insert a prying lever, such as a small flathead screwdriver under an edge of the badge. Pry up the badge gently. Move the screwdriver around the badge, prying each edge up until the badge pops free of the club. Save the badge in case you ever want to put it back in the cavity.
-
3
Apply a few drops of adhesive remover to the exposed cavity. Scrub away any remaining adhesive, using an old toothbrush. Wipe away any remaining adhesive remover with a cloth. Rinse and dry the club head.

4
Repeat the process on all of your Ping i15 irons.
