How to Remove a .22 Barrel
.22 caliber rifles are small caliber weapons used for target shooting or varmint and small game hunting. Gaining access to the barrel allows you to fully clean the weapon, a necessary process for using and maintaining the firearm. Field strip a .22 rifle to remove the barrel from the weapon. Most .22s can be field stripped without tools. Handle the firearm as if it were loaded, for safety's sake.
