TaylorMade shafts are found in a number of different series and price ranges.
  1. Motore F1 Series

    • The specialty of the Motore F1 series shaft is that it has a High Inertia Tip, which enables it to swing with more intensity and release the power surge from the downswing. The shaft has a low to mid launch and spin, and a weight ranging from 59 - 75 grams, depending on diameter. The torque ranges from 3.0 to 4.3 degrees.

    Aldila Voodoo Series

    • The shafts available at TaylorMade in the Aldila Series include Aldila Voodoo Series VS6, Aldila Voodoo NV6, and Aldila RIP 60 and 70. The Voodoo series enables maximum stabilization and greater swing speed. The weight lies in the 60 to 65 gram range. The launch angle is rated medium and the torque ranges from 3.0 to 3.4 degrees.

    Matrix Series

    • The Matrix series shafts available at TaylorMade include the Matrix Xcon5 and Matrix HD6. The HD6 shaft has strong tip and angle strength. It weighs 62 grams and has a low spin rate, with a low to medium launch angle. Shaft torque is 3.2 degrees. The Xcon5 has a high launch angle and torque which ranges from 4 to 4.3 degrees. Its spin speed is low and has a weight from 55 to 61 grams.

    Fubuki Series

    • The Fubuki series available at TaylorMade includes the Fubuki 63 and 73. The Fubuki series has a launch angle rated medium to high, and torque ranging from 3.3 to 3.7 degrees. The weight ranges from 62 to 71 grams. The length is 46 inches. It uses special MDT (Modulus Differential Technology) technology to control the spin rate as its high launch and higher torque angle may be a concern for some fast swingers.
