How to Take Logos Off of Hockey Helmets

Helmets are important pieces of equipment in any contact sport, including hockey. Unfortunately, when you buy helmets from the sporting goods store, they usually come with stickers or decals on them with the manufacturer's logo. If you want to remove a logo, it can be done at home if you have the right tools.

Instructions

    • 1

Heat up a small portion of the sticker with a hair dryer or heat gun.

    • 2

Use the chisel tool (or a credit card) to scrape the section of the logo that you heated up. Slide the chisel tool underneath the logo and carefully peel it up.

    • 3

Heat different sections of the logo, and peel them up until the entire logo can be removed.

    • 4

Apply a small amount of adhesive remover or rubbing alcohol to the surface where the logo used to be. Let it sit for about 40 seconds, and rub the excess adhesive away with a rag.
