1
Place your Graf 301 hockey skates onto a level surface. Examine the bottom of the skates to identify the frame that holds the blade in place. Locate the screws that secure the frames to the bottom of the 301 boots. Loosen the screws using a Phillips screwdriver.
-
2
Remove the frames from the bottom of your skates. Locate the tongues of the hockey skate boots. Pull back the tongues to loosen the lacing strings of the boots.
-
3
Place the skate oven onto your kitchen counter. Insert the power plug of the skate oven into an electrical outlet.
-
4
Utilize the temperature controls to heat the oven to 180 degrees Fahrenheit. Remove the power plug from the wall socket as the oven reaches 180 degrees. Place your 301 boots into the oven and close the door. Wait for 10 minutes as the boots continue to warm.
-
5
Lower the oven door and take out the boots. Insert your feet into the ice hockey socks that you wear during play. Place your feet into the heated 301 boots. Pull up on the ends of the laces to tighten the boots around your feet.
-
6
Fasten the lacing strings tightly to secure the boots in place. Wait for the boots to cool down before removing your feet.
-
7
Reattach the blade frames back onto the bottom of your skates.
