Instructions

    • 1

Begin by cutting the tarp to the size you want with craft scissors. A typical length is approximately 5 feet by 8 feet for banners.

    • 2

Punch three holes at the top and bottom of the banner. Put one hole at the top and bottom right, one hole at the center top and bottom and one hole at the top and bottom on the far left of the banner.

    • 3

Decorate the banner with stick on letters, markers, glitter and other materials. Don't forget to add the team name, coaches' names and other important details to the banner to display your team spirit.

    • 4

While the banner is drying, cut four to six pieces of rope or nylon in needed lengths to tie down the banner.

    • 5

Thread the rope or nylon through the hole punches and secure your banner to a stable structure, such as a fence.
