Whisker Biscuit Installation Instructions

A Whisker Biscuit is basically a rest that can be installed onto your archery bow to increase the accuracy of your arrow upon release. This "soft" arrow rest has become popular among hunters and target shooters since its introduction in 1999. While other rests allow the arrow to sit on a hard surface, the Whisker Biscuit is designed as a "soft" rest, meaning that the arrow rests on a series of bristles or "whiskers." Biscuit refers to the round shape of the device. Follow these simple instructions for hassle-free installation.

Instructions

    • 1

Remove the existing arrow rest, if applicable.

    • 2

Attach the self-adhesive quiet pads onto the Whisker Biscuit.

    • 3

Using the provided mounting kit and the appropriate Allen wrench, loosely screw the Whisker Biscuit -- mounting hole facing out -- onto the back of the riser. Keep it loose at first, in order to make adjustments.

    • 4

Choose a level spot on your string and hook the nock of an untipped arrow in place and set into the Whisker Biscuit rest, aligning it across the hole in the riser. Using the Allen wrench, tighten lightly.

    • 5

Adjust the rest so that it is at a slight angle backward or forward so that the arrow is sitting on the edge of the Whisker Biscuit, not directly through the middle.

    • 6

Lock the Whisker Biscuit rest by firmly tightening the screw with the Allen wrench.

    • 7

Shoot targets from a variety of distances in order to tune your bow, adjusting as needed.
