Find corrective eyewear that is approved for sports. You should look for eyewear that is specifically approved to be used while playing racquetball. Certain manufacturers specialize in making corrective eyewear for racquetball players. Find a sure fit and don't alter the eyewear once you have it in your possession. If you have to secure your eyewear during a game, you may be penalized with a technical foul.

Wear the same colors as your partner if you are competing as a team. You may be able to choose whatever colors you wish for the game; however, the colors must be in sync with your teammate's.

    • 3

Choose shoes that will not mark, damage, scrape or blacken the floor in any way.

    • 4

Get wrist thongs to wear during the warm-up. In some areas, wearing wrist thongs during warm-ups is required.

    • 5

Have your competitive outfits approved by the referee. Referees have the authority to decide whether uniforms or competitive wear are appropriate. Very loose-fitting or overly-distracting garments will probably be denied as competitive wear.

    • 6

Wear only clean outfits when competing in racquetball.

    • 7

Keep an extra shirt handy for game day. A referee may allow you to change shirts if you perspire heavily during the game. Make sure to choose a shirt that is similar to the one you initially had on.
