How to Arrange Stickers on a Snowboard

Many snowboarders like to add some fun and a personal touch to their snowboards by adding stickers. Some like to choose stickers from the mountain or park they're riding, others like to collect different stickers from just about anywhere. What stickers you choose can actually say a bit about your personality and riding style. Surprisingly, there is a kind of art into where you place your stickers on your snowboard.

Apply your stickers to your snowboard right after you purchase your snowboard and before you go riding on it. Man-made snow can leave a film on the bottom of your board that can prevent the stickers from adhering to it. If you decide to add new stickers to your snowboard after you've been riding, always clean it first with a snowboard base cleaner to clean off the dirty film on the bottom of the board.

Choose your stickers wisely. Pick out stickers that you like, but try to stay consistent with your board colors. Also, try and stick with one name brand (you don't want to look like a NASCAR). If you love a certain brand of goggles, gear, pants, bindings, etc., use that company's stickers and not competitors'.

Lay out your stickers on your board with the backings still on so you can see what looks good where. Keep it simple, but still keep it cool. You can even place your stickers near the edge of the board and cut the part that hangs off of the board off with a razor (but ensure that you can still see the brand you're showing off).

Cover the board's graphics if you'd like. Most boards have graphics already on them. You can simply cover them up with your stickers or you can work around them.
