How to Set Up the EOTech 552

Electronic Ops Technology's 552 holographic sight is a targeting system designed to improve accuracy and control over a user's shooting environment. The EOTech 552 is designed to fit all gun types. To achieve the best results, EOTech recommends the sight's 1-inch dovetail rail be parallel to the gun bore. If placed incorrectly, users will notice inaccuracies while firing. Included on the device are windage adjustments and elevation for the sight for providing the best accuracy.

      Unscrew the hex nut retainer and dovetail clap located on the underside of the sight. Use the Allen wrench to turn the screws counter-clockwise to loosen.

      Locate and place the post within a groove on the top of the 1-inch dovetail base. Each gun and user's sight preference will vary, so place the sight accordingly.

      Push the sight as far forward as possible, ensuring the sight's post is inserted into a groove. When in place, tighten the hex nut and retainer screw by turning the Allen wrench clockwise.

      Ensure the 1-inch dovetail rail is mounted parallel to the barrel. If necessary, adjust the elevation of the sight by moving the elevation adjustment knob clockwise for down and counter-clockwise for up.
