How to Adjust a TYR Socket Rocket 2.0

The Socket Rocket is a pair of goggles worn by professional swimmers. They are easy to adjust and feature rear strap adjustments and nose piece adjustment options. This enables the swimmer to create a comfortable fit and prevent leaking during the race. Goggles are an essential piece of equipment for swimmers who need to protect their eyes from chlorine and other pool chemicals while keeping an eye out for their opponents. Socket Rockets are available from sports stores.

Instructions

    • 1

Place the Socket Rockets on a flat working surface with the goggles facing you.

    • 2

Locate the small buckle on the two straps that go around the back of your head. Move the buckle to the right to make the strap bigger and to the left to make it smaller. To move the buckle, hold the strap in one hand while you slide the buckle along with the other.

    • 3

Try the goggles on and adjust the buckle setting until they fit snugly.

    • 4

Pull the nose piece rubber down to make the nose piece narrower. If you wish to make it wider, pull it up in the middle. The Socket Rockets must fit tightly into your eye sockets to prevent water from leaking in.
