How to Use Anti-Fog Spray For Goggles

Anti-fog spray is used as a coating for swim goggles so that the swimmer can see under the water without the worry of fogging goggles. Normally, when goggles get wet for an extended period of time, they become fogged and hard to see through, requiring cleaning before the next use. When anti-fog spray is added to the goggles, they do not fog up during a swimming session.

Instructions

    • 1

Look over the goggles and make sure there is nothing on them. Swimming in salt water can result in sand or salt on the goggles. Clean the goggles with soap and water if necessary to remove salt, sand or dirt and dry them with a towel.

    • 2

Spray the anti-fog spray onto the inside of the goggles. Cover completely.

    • 3

Wipe the goggles with a tissue. Spray again. Wipe around the goggles with a finger to ensure every spot is covered.

    • 4

Wipe with the same tissue used previously and allow the goggles to dry. Drying times differ for each spray, but usually range between a few minutes to an hour.

    • 5

Put the goggles on before a swim. Swim like normal and the goggles should not fog up.
