How to Pack a Triathlon Wetsuit for Travel

Triathlon wetsuits are typically made of neoprene rubber--the same material used in scuba diving suits. Triathlon wetsuits are sold in different thickness (5mm to 2mm) to suit the preferences of the athlete and the weather conditions. Thicker suits are favored in colder climates for the long swim of a triathlon. While the neoprene rubber provides excellent insulation and buoyancy, it also presents a challenge for the athlete trying to pack a wetsuit. Wetsuits have a tendency to spring open and flop around at inopportune moments. You can stow your wetsuit in a carry-on bag and be ready for the main event by following these steps.
