1
Once you have found your bike racking spot, rack your bike. If you have the option, end spots give you a little more room. In the space next to your bike, lay down your large towel.
-
2
On the towel, lay out your cycling shoes (and socks if you need them), and next to them your running shoes. Place any accessories you need for the run, like a hat or race belt on top of the shoes.
-
3
Place your helmet on the bike, bottom side up. Place any bike accessories, like sunglasses, in the helmet.
-
4
Put the small hand towel in a convenient spot to reach. You'll have it available if you need to wipe off muddy feet or excess water after the swim.
-
5
Double-check your layout before you leave. You don't want to lose time looking for something you've forgotten. A list is useful if you want to be sure you have everything.
