1
Measure eight feet from the bottom of each galvanized fence post. Mark the location with a chalk on each pole.
-
2
Measure 40 inches downwards from the 8-foot mark on each post. Mark the location with chalk.
-
3
Drill holes in each pole at the marked location with a drill bit slightly larger than the eyelet bolts.
-
4
Place a nut and washer on an eyelet bolt. Insert the bolt through the drilled hole in the pole and secure the bolt with a second nut. Repeat a procedure to insert eyelet bolts in each hole.
-
5
Follow the instructions on the concrete to mix the concrete according to the specifications in a concrete mixing tub.
-
6
Place the plastic sheet on a flat surface and position each tire on the plastic sheet.
-
7
Fill the two tires with concrete nearly to the top. Use measuring tape to obtain the center point of the tires and insert the poles in the wet concrete in the center of the tires. Level the poles with a level. Ensure that the eyelet bolts are on top of the pole.
-
8
Allow enough time for the concrete to dry. Read the label to determine the appropriate drying time.
-
9
Attach the net to the poles by securing the net to each eyelet bolt.
