Creative Ideas for Decorating Volleyball Lockers

Inspire team spirit and show pride in your volleyball team members by creatively decorating their lockers. A decorated locker stands out in a hallway, making the owner feel special. Use a volleyball theme to customize the decorated locker to the owner's passion: her favorite sport.
  1. Net Cover

    • Tape pieces of a discarded volleyball net to the front of a locker.

Create a "network" on the front of a volleyball locker by taping a piece cut from a used volleyball net to the locker door. Use more tape to hold candy bars or other treats inside the holes of the net and attach a sign with the volleyball player's name and number over the locker. Make all attachments to the locker using duct tape which holds fast but can easily be removed.

    Hello Dolly!

    • Dress up a fashion doll or teddy bear like a volleyball player for use as a decoration.

Turn a volleyball player into a doll on the front of a volleyball player's locker. Look for fashion dolls or teddy bears small enough to fit inside of a locker basket attached to front of the locker with suction cups. Dress the doll in a volleyball uniform reflecting your team's colors. If you cannot find such a doll outfit, make one using a fabric from a fabric store or dress the doll in simple sports clothes with a small toy volleyball glued to its hand. Use a laundry marker to personalize the doll's clothes by writing the player's name and number on the back of the doll-sized volleyball uniform. Set the finished doll inside the basket on the front of the locker.

    Volleyballs

    • Save volleyballs destined to be thrown away because they have become completely deflated. Push any remaining air from these balls, and shape into a semi-circle. Use super strength double-stick tape or sticky tack putty to attach one or two deflated balls to the front of a volleyball player's locker. Tape a sign with the player's name and team number onto the locker next to the volleyballs.
