Ideas for Decorating Football Players Lockers
-
Team Spirit
-
One of the first places to find inspiration when decorating a player's locker is team spirit. Decorating the locker with memorabilia that matches the team is an appropriate way to go. This will include things such as team stickers, team schedules and team fliers. Keep the locker in the same color scheme as the team colors. Newspaper, magazine and online articles about the upcoming season or past victories can also be a great source of content with which to decorate a locker for a player. Simply stick or hang these items on with tape or other adhesives that will not leave a long-term mark.
Personal Inspiration
-
Many times players will have some form of personal inspiration that has touched their lives. This can be something as simple as a sports movie they watch before every game, or something as large as a friend or relative who passed that meant the world to them. Seek to find pictures, articles, and media content about these sources of personal inspiration for the football player. If you are not sure exactly where their personal inspiration comes from, have a conversation with them or ask family and friends what they might like in their locker.
Professional Inspiration
-
Many football players have heroes who have participated in, or are currently participating in, the sport on a collegiate or professional level. Find articles, pictures, or other memorabilia about those players and hang those in the player's locker. Also, because of the advent of online auction sites such as EBay, autographs of such heroes are much easier and cheaper to come by than they used to be. Try to find an autographed football, card or jersey from that player and decorate the player's locker with those items.
