How to Use Thermo Flex

Thermoflex, a type of clothing sold specifically for use in water sports, is made of neoprene fabric, a stretch and flexible fabric that allows the user to put on and remove the clothing without difficulty. Thermoflex gear is available in various areas internationally for both experienced water sport athletes as well as amateurs. However, you must care for the wetsuit in order to keep the fabric in good condition. Luckily, caring, using and storing Thermoflex items is a relatively simple task with the right tools and procedures.

Instructions

  1. Usage

    • 1

Unzip the back zipper of the Thermoflex clothing item. Put on the Thermoflex clothing or wetsuit, along with the remainder of your equipment. The equipment will depend on the water activity such as kayaking or scuba diving.

    • 2

Enter the body of water as you would normally with your equipment. Thermoflex clothing allows a thin layer of water to soak between the skin and the fabric.

    • 3

Perform your water activities. Keep close attention to your body temperature, as this could change if there is a leak in your Thermoflex clothing.

    Wash

    • 4

Remove the water sports equipment and Thermoflex clothing.

    • 5

Hang the clothing on a laundry line and hose down the suit with fresh water.

    • 6

Fill a bucket with water and mild detergent. Scrub any salt residue and corrosion from the clothing with a sponge.

    • 7

Hose down the clothing with fresh water, then allow the clothing to hang on the clothes line until dry.

    • 8

Hang the clothing on a clothes hanger and store in a dark and dry location.
