How to Jump the Wake on Water Skis
Approach the wake from the outside with lots of speed. Jump up as you hit the wake, and land with your skis parallel and knees bent.

Grip the ski rope in the baseball-bat grip, with one hand over and one hand under, separated by a couple of inches.

Ski outside the wake.

Lean into a hard turn toward the wake.

Crouch low just before you hit the wake.

Straighten your legs and jump up as you cross the wake.

Keep your skis parallel in the air. Keep your tips up so that they don't dig in when you land.

Bend your knees and waist as you land. Your skis should be about a foot apart and parallel.
