Learn "The Aggie War Hymn" by heart: "Hullabaloo, caneck! Caneck! Hullabaloo, caneck! Caneck! Good-bye to Texas University, so long to the orange and the white. Good luck to the dear old Texas Aggies--they are the boys that show the real old fight! The eyes of Texas are upon you... That is the song they sing so well. So good-bye to Texas University: we're going to beat you all to--Chig-gar-roo-gar-rem, chig-gar-roo-gar-rem! Rough tough! Real stuff! Texas A&M!"

Know the very simple words to "Saw Varsity's Horns Off:" "Saw Varsity's horns off! Saw Varsity's horns off! Saw Varsity's horns off! Short! A! Varsity's horns are sawed off! Varsity's horns are sawed off! Varsity's horns are sawed off! Short! A!"

Shout the songs at the top of your lungs! For best results, sing while wearing plenty of maroon and white.

    • 4

Listen to a performance of the songs while you follow along using your printouts of the lyrics. Get familiar with the tempo and rhythm of the songs. After a few listens, try to sing along. As soon as you're comfortable, try to sing along without the aid of your lyrics sheet. Refer back to it only when you get stuck.

    • 5

Sing the songs aloud without any accompaniment from either an audio clip or your lyrics print-out. It may take you a few tries, but soon you'll be able to sing "The Aggie War Hymn" and "Saw Varsity's Horns Off" like a grizzled A&M gridiron veteran!
