How to Customize Lacrosse Gloves

Compared with some other team sports, lacrosse players wear little protective equipment, but like other sports, the lacrosse athlete can add some flair to his game-time wardrobe by customizing his gloves. A few of the sport's biggest equipment manufacturers such as Warrior, Brine and Gait offer their customers a chance to customize their gloves sets by chosing their own color scheme on a slew of existing models. For ease of ordering, customizing your own glove set can be done online.

      Log onto the website of the company of your choice. Click on "Gloves" under the gear header and browse through the catalog of available models--note that only men’s senior and junior models are available; as of 2010, the option of customizing women’s lacrosse gloves isn’t available.

      Click on the glove that appeals most to you. Generally speaking, the glove set featured first are the company’s top model, which will be the most expensive; keep this in mind if you’re shopping on a budget. Click on the "Customize" icon located somewhere on your screen; this opens a template.

      Click on "Gloves" should the option be available again--as is the case for Warrior brand lacrosse equipment. If not, or when the customizer loads, click on the whether your order is for your team or only for yourself.

      Choose your junior or senior size from the option list by clicking on the appropriate number. Choose the type of material you want your glove to made from should the option be available. Choose your first color preference, which will be the glove’s primary color.

      Continue choosing your color options to color the glove’s graphic (if any), cuff, thumb and finger panels. Once you’re satisfied with your chosen color scheme, click to continue the process and select if you’d like your gloves to be custom embroidered with your name and player number.

      Choose the material you’d like the glove palms to be constructed of, then continue on to fill out your personal information in the fields provided. Look over the info to make sure you didn’t make any mistakes, then click to send your custom order to the company’s factory. A company gear representative will contact you regarding price using the phone number or email address you provided.
