ATV Trails Near Junction, UT

Junction is a small community on I-89 in central Utah. Visitors will find it to be a convenient base camp for the many recreational amenities the area has to offer, including ATV trails. Within 30 minutes of Junction, guests can visit the Paiute National Forest, Fishlake National Forest and Paiute Reservoir while enjoying ATV-friendly accommodations and dining opportunities.

  1. Paiute ATV Trail

    • Paiute ATV Trail system, located in south-central Utah, includes 250 miles of main trail and an additional 1000 miles of marked side trails. The trail navigates a variety of terrain consisting of mountains, valleys and foothills with several lakes and streams along its length. It encompasses a large area in and around Junction as well as Salina, Marysvale, Beaver and Richfield. Because of its high elevation, the trail is accessible only in spring and summer, with some portions of the trail closed longer depending on the amount of snow that has fallen.

    FishLake National Forest Roads

    • FishLake National Forest is located two miles west of downtown Junction and has hundreds of miles of internal forest roads open to ATV use. Riders must obey all traffic laws and speed limits and use proper safety gear. The trails connect to the Paiute ATV Trail System along with providing access to the communities of Beaver, Junction, Joseph and Marysvale. Roads consist of maintained and un-maintained dirt-based roads that can accommodate one to two passenger cars and several ATVs.

    Fremont ATV Trail

    • The Fremont ATV Trail consists of 65 miles of trail between Circleville and Tropic Reservoir. The trail, 10 miles south of Junction, connects to the larger Paiute Trail south of Junction. Terrain includes high and low elevations, pine and aspen forests and sagebrush prairies. Several side-trails lead riders to various canyons such as Sanford Canyon, Smith Canyon and Limekiln Canyon, all within the Dixie National Forest.

    Lizzie and Charlie's RV & ATV Park

    • Lizzie and Charlie's RV & ATV Park provides ATV rentals, campsites and direct access to the Paiute ATV Trail. The park, located on the southern side of Marysvale, connects to the Marysvale Loop, which gives guests access the western and eastern portions of the Paiute Trail. RV sites include full hook-ups, space for ATV parking, and access to a laundry room and shower house. Guests can ride their ATVs in the town of Marysvale, where they will find a grocery store, gas station and a few restaurants within two blocks.
