Micro Scooter Tricks
-
The Ollie
-
Start rolling on the scooter. Grip the handlebars tightly. Place your feet at a 45-degree angle to the scooter deck. Pull the handlebars up and jump at the same time. While in the air, bend your knees and continue to pull the handlebars up. On the way back down, land with your feet on the deck and with knees bent to absorb the impact.
Tail Whip
-
Follow the steps it takes for the ollie but when in mid-air, kick the deck so that it starts to rotate away from you. Flick the handlebars with your hands to help the deck travel around. Once the deck comes back around, plant your feet back on, hit the ground and ride away.
The 180
-
Follow the steps for the ollie, but as you jump into the ollie, send your momentum to one side. Spin your body as you jump and hold onto the micro scooter so that it travels with you. Keep your feet close to the deck and once you've spun around half-way, hit the ground and ride off backwards.
Handlebar Spin
-
Follow the same steps as the ollie, but once in the air, take the handlebars and spin them around. This will also spin the front wheel, so make sure the handlebars spin all the way around. That way when you land, the wheel is facing forward and you can ride off cleanly.
