Impact Racing Helmet for Kids

Whether your child is racing motorcycles or go-karts, a good fitting helmet is key to having fun and ensuring good performance. Impact Racing Products makes helmets that are designed with Quick Fit memory foam sizing pads to "grow" along with your child.

  1. Types

    • Impact Racing makes two types of helmets for children: the Youth Mini Vapor and the Youth Mini Champ. Both helmets come with Quick Fit memory foam sizing pads, which means the helmets can be fitted and refitted as your child grows. Both helmets are designed for ages five to 10 and encompass small, medium and large sizes.

    • In addition to various sizes, Youth Mini Vapor and Youth Mini Champ helmets can be customized for hard-to-fit or in between sizes; interchangeable cheek pads also provide a custom fit. The construction of the shell includes boundary layer aerodynamic features. The helmets come in silver, white, gloss black and flat black.

    • The Mini Vapor Helmet can be purchased for $375 and the Mini Champ Helmet for $329 online (as of September, 2010) from Impact Racing. There are three factory stores located in Indiana, North Carolina and California, as well as 22 authorized dealers across the U.S. and seven international authorized dealers.
