How to Place Your Feet on a Board for a Shuvit
Proper foot placement is the key to performing a successful shuvit on a skateboard. During the trick, your front foot remains stationary while your back foot spins the board 180 degrees. Once you are comfortable with the basic shuvit, you can spin the board all the way around to execute a 360 shuvit or add an ollie to perform a pop shuvit.

1
Place your front foot on the center of the skateboard. Place your back foot on the edge of the tail with the toes hanging over the side of the board.
-
2
Shove the tail of the board behind you with your back foot and lift your front foot slightly. Use your front foot as a pivot point for the skateboard so it does not fly off to the side. Wait for the board to rotate beneath your feet until the tail is in front of you.

3
Land on the skateboard with one foot over each set of bolts. Bend your knees to cushion the landing and keep your momentum rolling forward.
