Directions for a VERT Ramp

Throughout the 1980s and early 90s, vert skateboarding dominated the sport. Big name contests including the X Games showcased vertical skateboarding as a main event. As opposed to more compact skateboarding ramps, the vert ramp generally has a height of 15 to 20 feet. A section of the vert ramp features a vertical incline. According to ESPN, skateboarders utilize the vertical section to execute aerial maneuvers above the metallic coping of the ramp. When learning to skate vert, wear full pads and a helmet.
