How to Fix Your Chip on Your Skateboard
Things You'll Need
- High-strength adhesive or wood repair filler
- Putty knife
- Sandpaper
- Paint (optional)
- Paintbrush (optional)

If You Saved the Chipped Piece

Apply the adhesive to the edges of the broken piece and the broken areas of the skateboard where the piece chipped off. Use a putty knife if necessary to spread the adhesive evenly.

Place the piece in the chipped area. Ensure the correct fit by lining up the edges of the piece with the corresponding edges of the chipped area. Wipe off any excess glue.

Wait for the glue to dry. Sand the repaired area smooth using the sandpaper.

Select a paint color that matches the color of the skateboard if the area needs to be repainted. Apply the paint around the repaired area.
If You Did Not Save the Chipped Piece

Apply the wood repair filler to the chipped area, making sure that you completely fill it in. Use a putty knife if necessary to spread the filler evenly.

Wait for wood repair filler to dry. Sand the repaired area smooth using the sandpaper.

Select a paint color that matches the color of the skateboard if the area needs to be painted. Apply the paint around the repaired area using a small paintbrush.
