    • Antigravity Skatepark is a 23,000-square-foot indoor skate park in Newport News, Virginia. The park offers both skateboarders and BMX bikers a wide array of ramps, rails, pipes and grinding surfaces. There is an entire back room devoted to BMX biking.

      The park hosts skating competitions, skating camps, biking camps, private lessons, after-school programs and musical concerts. Skaters are required to wear helmets and pads. Skating sessions are reserved in hourly blocks of time at flat-rate prices.

    Skate High Skatepark

    • The only indoor skate park in Virginia Beach, Skate High is a 10,000-square-foot course complete with bowls, rails, ramps and pipes. Built in 2009, the air-conditioned park provides a cooler alternative to outdoor skating in Virginia's hotter months. The park operates in three-hour blocks of time; skaters pay a fixed rate to ride for three hours. Skate High also offers full-day rates.

    James City County Skatepark

    • Located in Williamsburg, Virginia, James City County Skatepark is a 10,000-square-foot outdoor park open year-round, closing only in severe weather. The park consists of concrete ledges, bowls, ramps, grinding surfaces and metal pipes. James City also has two movable ramps, a handrail and a rail. It is an unsupervised facility: Skaters are responsible for taking the proper safety precautions. Helmets and pads are highly recommended. Skateboards, in-line skates and scooters are all allowed to be used in the park. Smoking, food and drinks are not permitted on the premises.
