How to Lipslide on a Skateboard
Lipslides can be tricky to master, but the maneuver will add some extra style to your skateboarding sessions. The lipslide is a hybrid of the 180 ollie and the boardslide, requiring the balance and finesse of both tricks to land successfully. Once you're comfortable with the basic rail and ledge tricks like boardslides and 50-50 grinds, you'll be ready to learn the lipslide. If you make sure to utilize proper form, you'll have the trick down in no time.

1
Gather a comfortable amount of speed, and ride toward the rail at a slight angle. Ollie above the rail when you reach it.
-
2
Rotate your body and board as you're in the air above the rail. Turn so that you're facing the rail and center your board above it. Keep your knees bent and your feet positioned over the bolts.
-
3
Land your board with the rail in between the trucks. Slide to the end of the rail, keeping your arms up to maintain balance.
-
4
Spot your landing at the end of your slide. Rotate your body and board forward as you come off the rail. For a smooth landing, try to make all four of your wheels hit the ground at once.
