How to Tell Miles on Schwinn Airdyne

The Schwinn Airdyne bike provides an indoor cardiovascular workout. One of the benefits when using an Airdyne is the ability to use both your arms and legs to move the wheel of the bike. As you push and pull the pedals and handrails, you can track your distance when you use legs, or arms, or both to exercise. You can view your miles for each exercise session and also track the total miles you have covered from your first pedal.

Instructions

    • 1

Sit on the bike. Press the "Start/Stop" key and exercise for your desired length of time. Press the "Start/Stop" key when you stop pedaling.

    • 2

Read the second line on the display in the results mode, which tells you the distance you rode.

    • 3

Read the third line on the display in the results mode, which tells you your total distance covered since you first began riding the Airdyne.
