Calibrating before first use

Plug the machine power cord into a wall power outlet. Flip the main power switch to the "On" position. This switch is located next to the power plug on the machine.

Place your feet either on the side foot support platforms or a rubber floor mat. Do not stand on the machine belts during this process. Injury could occur. Insert the machine's safety key while pressing and holding down the "Power" button.

Press and hold down the "Slower" button while continuing to hold down the "Power" button. Numbers will start to decrease on the machine console. Continue holding the "Power" and "Slower" buttons while you remove and reinsert the safety key into the machine.

Release the "Power" and "Slower" buttons. You will see "CAL," "PrSS" and "Strt" on the time display. Press "START/STOP" to begin calibration. Belts will begin to start and stop. When complete, your time screen will read "CAL" and "Pass."

Remove the safety key and reinsert it. This completes the calibration and you may now begin using your machine.

Straddle the belts by standing on the side foot support platforms. Insert the safety key into the safety keyhole and attach the safety key clip to your clothing.

Press "START/STOP" and slowly and carefully step on the treadles. Slowly select your workout level by moving the workout level dial clockwise. Levels range from 1 to 12. Level 1 is the minimum depth of change of the treadles, while level 12 is the greatest depth of treadle movement.

Press "START/STOP" to pause or stop the machine.
