NordicTrack Walk Fit Instructions

The NordicTrack WalkFit is an old treadmill model that includes upper body swing arms. NordicTrack no longer produces the WalkFit treadmill, but you can often find it as a second-hand product. The WalkFit offers adjustable resistance for the upper body arms and the treadmill belt so you can increase the intensity of your workout. You can use just the treadmill portion of the WalkFit for a lower body workout or add the upper body arms for a full-body workout.

Instructions

    • 1

Position the arm exercisers in one of the four stationary holes to use the treadmill belt only. Align the holes in the upper body swing arms with one of the four holes in the bottom of the support upright. Slide the lock pin all the way through both swing arms.

    • 2

Pull the lock pin out and set it aside to use the swing arms while you are walking on the NordicTrack WalkFit machine.

    • 3

Locate the upper body resistance arm adjustment knob at the bottom of the support upright. Turn the knob to the left to reduce the resistance or to the right to increase the resistance.

    • 4

Stand near the front of the belt and begin walking at a slow pace. Move into a faster walk or run as desired.

    • 5

Turn the belt resistance knob, on the top of the support upright, to the right to increase the belt tension or to the left to decrease the belt tension.

    • 6

Stop your workout and step off the NordicTrack WalkFit to adjust the ramp elevation. Tip the machine to one side. Pull the lock pin out of the elevation leg, adjust the leg to the desired setting and slide the lock pin back in. Repeat on the other side.
