Linex X-615 Power Tower Instructions

The Linex X-615 Power Tower is a compact gym that allows you to do bodyweight exercises, such as dips and pull-ups, in the comfort of your home. The tower consists of a pull-up bar and dip handles. Foot pegs at the bottom of the gym allow you to hoist yourself up onto the machine. To use the Linex X-615, you need to be able to do bodyweight pull-ups and dips; otherwise, you won't get much use out of this gym. Dips target you triceps, chest and shoulders; pull-ups work your back and biceps.

Instructions

  1. Pull-ups

      Step on the foot pegs and grab the pull-up bar with a slightly wider-than-shoulder width, overhand grip.

      Lift your feet off the pegs and cross one ankle over the other. Make sure your body is stationary and not swinging before you begin the movement.

      Exhale, bend your elbows and pull your upper arms down to your sides as you pull your body up toward the bar.

      Pause when your chin is level with or just above the bar.

      Inhale and lower your body slowly back to the starting position.

    Dips

      Step on the foot pegs and grab the horizontal dip bars with an overhand grip.

      Push through your hands to suspend your body from the dip bars. Your arms should be fully extended and your body should be vertical to the floor.

      Inhale and lower your body by bending your elbows, pointing them behind you.

      Stop when your elbows are at a 90-degree bend.

      Exhale and press yourself back up, straightening your arms.
