How to Change the Battery in a Timex Indiglo

The Timex Indiglo pedometer is designed to easily attach to a belt and is primarily for use in all types of athletic situations. The Indiglo has a glowing LED display and can be set up for counting up to 99,999 steps before returning to 0. The pedometer has the ability to switch between a Step Mode and a Minute Mode for your convenience. The Timex Indiglo has a user-replaceable battery, and the process of changing the battery is fairly straightforward.

      Slide the battery compartment out of the side of the pedometer to remove the old battery.

      Insert the new battery into the battery compartment with the "+" sign facing downward. The battery should be sitting in the compartment firmly.

      Slide the battery compartment back into the side of the pedometer.
