How to Change the Battery in a TruGlo Sight Light

TruGlo makes a large range of sights for hunting and archery. The sites have red laser dots that project onto the target to ensure accuracy. After extended use, you must replace the battery. You can obtain replacement batteries from your hunting goods store or order them on the Internet. Replacing the batteries only takes a minute and can be done while in the field.

      Hold the top adjustment knob in one hand.

      Turn the site over and locate the battery bay on the bottom of the site. It has a round lid with a slot in it.

      Put the coin into the slot with your other hand and rotate it counterclockwise. This opens the battery bay.

      Remove the dead batteries, noting their orientation. Use the battery number to order replacement batteries.

      Put the new batteries into the battery bay, close the lid and rotate the coin in the slot in a clockwise direction.
